Policy Committee
The purpose of the Policy Committee is to establish the policies of the MPO. This committee is made up of local elected officials, Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department personnel, Texas Department of Transportation personnel, Federal Highway Administration personnel, and city staff. Policy Committee meetings are generally held four times per year, more are held if necessary.
The Technical Committee shall provide technical assistance to the MPO staff in developing, preparing and reviewing the Unified Planning Work Program, Transportation Improvement Program and the Metropolitan Transportation Plan and recommend their adoption to the Policy Committee.
